FRONTING is a triple bill of solos, which take as their starting point the act of paying tribute to those frontmen and frontwomen that don’t so much dance – as move, wobble and shake.
Danced by two frontmen (Gunnar Ragnarsson of Grísalappalísa and Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson Retro Stefson) and one frontwoman (Kata Mogensen of Mammút), FRONTING is a tribute act that pays special attention to the legacy of bodies and movements of those that stand at the front, as well as the bodies and movements of those that stand before them.

FRONTING was previewing in August 2014 at Reykjavík Dance Festival #12 and later that year premiered at Reykjavík Dance Festival #13 in November, 2014.
